Fort Parker is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Commonwealth Capital, LLC. Mr. Parker graduated with a B.Sc. in Finance from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He was most recently a Managing Director at Angelo, Gordon & Co. “AG”), an Alternative Asset Management firm with over $51 billion in assets under management (“AUM”). During his more than ten years at AG, he focused on originating, underwriting and acquiring a variety of assets for the firm’s net lease real estate strategy, personally working on more than $3.2 billion in transactions throughout North America and Europe and over $2.0 billion in associated financings. Overall, he assisted in growing AG's net lease platform from $350 million in assets upon joining the firm, to $4.6 billion in volume and $3.1 billion of current assets.  Mr. Parker helped invest AG’s second dedicated net lease fund, which acquired more than $1.4billion in assets, successfully exiting at over a 2.0xmultiple. Furthermore, he assisted in raising AGNL’s third dedicated net lease fund, exceeding the original hard cap target of $1 billion in equity and subsequently led the investment effort, which was fully deployed during his time at AG to the tune of more than $2.4 billion in total transaction volume. Prior to AG, Mr. Parker was on the investment team at W.P. Carey & Co. for six years, leading or assisting in closing over $1.4 billion in transactions. He serves as a special advisor to the board of Freestar, a leading independent non-alcoholic beer company based in the United Kingdom and has served on the Junior Advisory Council for the Boys’ Club of New York and Virginia Club of New York City, the Regional Board of Woodberry Forest School, and the Junior Committee of the Gordon Parks Foundation.
