Karl Semancik Jr. is a Co-Founder and Partner of Commonwealth Capital LLC.  Karl graduated Magna Cum Laude from Cornell University with specializations in accounting and finance from the Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management. Prior to founding Commonwealth Capital, Karl spent eight years at Angelo, Gordon, & Co., a global alternative asset manager with $51 billion in assets under management. At AG, Karl focused on origination, underwriting and structuring for the firm's net lease strategy. He joined AG as an analyst and was promoted three times during his tenure most recently operating as a director of the firm. Earlier, Karl worked with the auditing division at Deloitte & Touché, as well as the Cornell Investment Office. He previously obtained his Certified Public Accountant license in New York State.
